Alan Yardley
Alan Yardley

"Station Manager" - and now the man behind BLACKBURN ROVERS TV. Alan directs and produces all the pictures and programmes you'll see on the BIG screen at Ewood! After more years than he'd like to admit, Alan's spent spent plenty of time in-front, and behind the microphone, and can still be heard on Radio Rovers - even if it's only shouting at me in my headphones!.

He's a life long Rovers supporter, and spent his youth on the Riverside - now he's based in the Media Centre at the Blackburn and watches everything on a wall of tv screens ...."it's just not the same!"

Wendy Howard
Wendy Howard

What can I say about Wendy - friend of all the players - She's got Rovers in the blood! She too has been at Ewood since she could walk, and provides all our feature interviews and informed comment. You can also see her on BLACKBURN ROVERS TV doing interviews, team news, and as a studio guest, but you'll still hear her on Radio Rovers too!

Wendy started working life at Radio One! She's a full time broadcaster and sports journalist (enough said).

Season 2011-2012
Wendy has decided to put down her microphone! Sure she'll still be a guest - but no longer a regular contributor

Gerald Jackson
Gewrald Jackson (looking Young)

That's ME! I'm the main man behind the mic. and present our days programmes. I wasn't a Rovers fan as a young lad - I grew up in Leeds! However after over 38 years on the air, I now love my time at Ewood.. and even know a bit about the Rovers!

I have a small team in the studio with me, trying to keep track of all that's going on - and with the Police next door, we are ALL very well behaved ('honest guv')!

I press all those buttons and operate all the studio equipment, and that's my excuse for getting the odd players name wrong (not OURS of course!) And I now have the added joy of trying to make all the PA announcements for goals and substitutions. (and play the jingle!)

I'd love to hear from you
