Blackburn Rovers have signed left-back Stephen Hendrie on a season-long loan (BBC)
"He's not the finished article because he's a young kid, but he has scope for development," said manager Owen Coyle.
"I know West Ham have got high hopes for him to play in the Premier League in future years." He told BBC Radio Lancashire: "I do expect to still announce another couple of signings this week - it's something I'm working very hard at."

Blackburn Rovers have signed striker Anthony Stokes on a three-year deal, following departure from Scottish champions Celtic. (BBC)
He leaves Celtic Park having scored 77 goals in 192 games, and helped them win four titles and two Scottish Cups. The Republic of Ireland forward had previously been linked with Rotherham. He began his career at Arsenal, and spent time at Falkirk, Sunderland and Hibs before the move to Celtic in 2010. His decision to join Rovers followed a meeting with new manager Owen Coyle.
"I get a feeling for moves a lot of the time and there were different options available, but this time round this seemed like the right move for me," he told the club website.

The 49-year-old Scot left his role with Major League Soccer side Houston Dynamo last Thursday.The ex-Burnley and Bolton boss, whose last managerial job in England was at Wigan in 2013, replaces Paul Lambert, who left Rovers after just six months.
