Graeme Souness Blackburn Rovers boss Graeme Souness insists he has not been offered the opportunity to succeed Glenn Hoddle at Spurs.
Souness said: "I have not had any contact with Tottenham and I categorically deny I have accepted the job. "I've not been offered the Spurs job and all I'm concerned about is trying to get three points from an important match against Charlton on Monday." (18th October 2003)

Lucas Neill Lucas Neill has been ruled out of the side's Uefa Cup tie against Genclerbirligi on Wednesday. Neill is recovering well from pneumonia-type symptoms after being admitted to hospital at the start of last week before being discharged on Thursday.. (13th October 2003)

Former Ewood favourite Henning Berg has added further fuel to the fire (Re: "UNDER-FIRE defender Lorenzo Amoruso") by suggesting that Souness was wrong to release him in the summer. Rovers came back into the game later in the half and made changes in the second. Dino Baggio scored his first Rovers goal with just 5 minutes to go but it wasn't enough. Rovers loose 2-1.
