PAS - when things go wrong!
I found these clips on an old Faux Pas tape. They largely come
from "The Compact Cassette Programme" which I presented
with Trevor Hall. It was the first and only Cassette and Cartridge
review show. And it often went wrong! Enjoy.

ANDREW
'FREDDIE' FLINTOFF - FEATURE
On the eve of the Ashes test at Old Trafford, a trawl through the
BBC Radio Lancashire archives produced some memorable
moments. 'Freddie' Flintoff went on to be named 'man of the series',
but in this recording you'll hear him at the age of 14!
He tells me about his hopes for the future - playing with Phil Neville
(at Cricket) .. and other family members talk of their belief that
the young Lancashire lad would go on to play for England!
ENJOY a real gem
WELL DONE ENGLAND (and Freddie)

Disc and
Music Echo - RADIO CAROLINE In
the mid 60's at the hight of the Pirate Radio boom, the
weekly pop paper "Disc and Music Echo" produced a
'flexidisc' of interviews with the top stars of the day.
Tom Lodge of Radio Caroline was the host,
and included Radio Caroline Jingles in this
11 minute programme.
It's 40 years old, but the computer has cleaned it up well!

The

In the early 80's (I think) Blackburn band
"The Stiffs" came
into Studio 4 at BBC Radio Lancashire on King Street.
I've just found the video I made after that session
when the boys mimed to their track. I also used
all the latest Video effects! Enjoy (also on YouTube) (Feb
